Our environment is borderless; greenhouse gas emissions in the industrialised world can cause flooding in the Global South, and a growing demand for palm-oil based products in the North drive farm expansion into wildlife habitats in the tropics, causing human-wildlife conflicts. In our increasingly globalised world, more environmental and development challenges are best handled not in isolation but in cooperation.
